Lose Weight Diet Routine Day 4

I lost 1 pound! All in all I lost 9 pounds in just 4 days!

Lose Weight Diet Routine Day 3

It's day 3 of my weight loss journey. I still weigh 132 pounds. I think this is because of the Durian fruit that I ate. I can't seem to resist temptation when it comes to Durian. I can resist cake and ice cream but not this fruit. It's like "Pick your poison and deal with it" in order to lose weight. So this is one advice you should take. If you're on a diet, you definitely wanna stay clear of Durian. It jeopardizes your future thin self!

Lose Weight With This Diet Routine Day 2

It's more than 48 hours since I started this weight loss journey. I already did the measurements earlier and all three of my thighs, arms and waist have the same values as yesterday. My arms are 11.5 inches, my thighs 23.9 inches and my waist 36.8 inches. But my weight is now 132 lbs! I lost 8 pounds in just two days! I don't know where I shed the pounds off of. I don't know which part of my body lost the the 2 lbs but I'm not complaining. I'm still very happy with the results. I ate Durian fruit for my snack earlier and I regretted it because it contains a lot of carbs. Tomorrow, I promise to never give in to temptation and stick to low-carb snacks and meals. But the rest like what I ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and my water intake and level of activity will be found in my book. It will be released next year so you have to sit tight. I'm really inspired by myself right now. If only all of us are being inspired by ourselves, we would all be happy.

Diet On Day 1

So, I'm on this amazing diet where it doesn't make me feel hungry all the time. The results, of course, are also amazing. Just after 24 hours since I recorded myself on YouTube, I notice some huge improvements on my mood, how I feel about myself and my body appearance. I actually look smaller after just one day.

I'm still wearing the same clothes I wore when I measured myself yesterday. I did shower in case you're wondering. And I washed these shorts and top and I'm wearing clean underwear. Let's start measuring. My thighs are now 23.9 inches from 24 inches yesterday, arms are 11.5 inches it's still the same, my waist is now 36.8 inches from 37 inches yesterday and my weight is now 135 lbs from 140 lbs yesterday. I lost .1 inches on my thighs, .2 inches on my waist  and 5 lbs! Yeah, that is amazing.

I'm going to start writing my book tonight and finish it after 3 months. I say this with certainty because I will do it. This is just something that I know I will do and not just think.

In my book, I'm going to talk about what I ate and did today and the three months after that. I will also write about how much water I drank and my input and output or my water intake and pee and poop. I hope I had inspired you as much as I had. I inspire myself! Next to me, there's my husband Paul Berdos. He's also the main reason why I'm doing this. This is all for my husband. So I'm going to call my book, "Better Yourself For Your Husband". Tomorrow, I will be back and do the measurements and weight documentation again.

Lose Weight

This is it! My weight loss journey. If you want to lose weight, you have to follow me. But before you follow me, I should first show you that it works by trying it myself. I'm going to release my book next year so I have to meet my target goal weight by end of this year. That leaves me with 3 months of changing my diet, habits and activity levels.
Body measurements are current body weight are important before trying some diet out. This way, you'll know that it's working or failing. I'm gonna take the measurements of the biggest area of my arm and it's 11.5 inches. Now, the biggest area of my thighs and it's 24 inches. The biggest part of my stomach which is 37. And my weight as of September 1, 2016 is 140 lbs.
I'm gonna plan my meals and snacks tomorrow. Each night, I'm gonna blog about the things that I ate for that day and the things that I did (activities). I know I will be a success.

Routine

I'm sweating like a pig here in my room today. It's noon and the sun is up burning the roof on top of my head. How I wish I can switch on the AC but my husband Paul Berdos won't let me. He says that our electric bill will shoot up if I do so. The BB cream on my face is melting and streaking. Ewww!

I'll make my daily routine and stick to it by any means necessary. I'm not the "routine" type of gal but I should be. I need organization in my life. So, here's the plan:

5 AM Eat, shower and video
7 AM Write Snippets
9 AM Blog
11 AM Cook Lunch
1 PM Write Snippets
3 PM Dog Walk in the Park
5 PM Dinner
7 PM Blog
9 PM Sleep

Nonsense Haul

I'm here in my bedroom with a lot of trash! Trash from the grocery store and the department store. Yesterday I had $300 and now I have $0! I need to stop shopping!
Here are the items that I purchased:

Curling Rods

Roller Brush

Eye Shade

L'oreal Men Expert Toner ( I'm a woman! But I wanna try it)

Ever Bilena Blush Duo

I need to breathe! I need space from my obsession. Okay here's the plan. Stop being Becky Bloomwood! You're not the star of the Shopaholic Series, Jenny!

Here's what I'm gonna do:
1. I need to have a daily routine or itinerary or schedule to write snippets and blogs, eat meals, incorporate fitness activities (or activity), cuddle with my husband Paul Berdos and get rid of my pores. I need to allot time and effort if I wanna see some changes in them. I know my husband doesn't care that their huge as the planet but I'm obsessed with them right now.

2. I have to make a list of what I'm allowed to buy tomorrow and for the rest of the week.

3. Watch what I eat. This is super important, because when I'm hungry I tend to shop. In order to stop shopping, I need to eat at a regular basis. So, I also need to make a schedule of the times that I should eat and list down the foods that I'm gonna eat. The only problem is, now I need to shop for those foods and I don't think I have money left after I pay the bills tomorrow.

4. Every payday (Tuesday), I need to set aside $50 for my savings. I earn $1,148 per week and I still haven't saved a dime yet! This is so frustrating. Not only do I look like I should be in that hit series Two Broke Girls, but I also feel like a failure!

5. Create a list of the "Greatest List of Things I Want To Buy"

Yeah. Good luck.

Biore Aqua Rich Watery UV BB Cream Review

Mrs. Jenny Berdos here! Tonight I'm going to show you guys the effects of the sought-after Biore BB cream on my face. I hope it's worth every penny. Here it is. I bought this for Php 450 so it's about $10. I've bought BB creams that are more expensive than this one in the past so I'm not complaining about the price. This product promises to give a UVA and UVB protection of SPF 50 PA+++. It also promises good oil control, hydrating effects, natural coverage and a brightening makeup base. Let's go ahead and put it on my (before) face.
I love it! The smell's great. The coverage is perfect for me because I really don't want the fake face with lots of makeup. This is a great cream to hide my pores but at the same time, let them breathe. It's 8 o'clock in the evening and I'm not going anywhere. I just want to try it out and blog and YouTube about it immediately. I'll definitely buy this again!

I Woke Up Like This!

Yep! This is my ( Mrs. Jenny Berdos ) "I woke up like this". I have huge pores! I can feel the bulk of impurities inside them when I touch them. I have a plan. I will buy baking soda at the grocery later this afternoon. I will also continue to use the Maxi~Peel facial cleanser to clear out my warts. I'm not really sure if the Maxi~Peel works on minimizing the pores, but I can vouch for their wart-removal properties.

I'll also buy the Biore BB cream. I know, I know. I talked about being frugal on my last post last night. But, this is a "need". I need to minimize my pores. I used the CC cream from IVY Beauty and it really didn't work for me, in this weather, in this lifestyle.

I purchased the IVY Beauty Hydra Light-Feeling CC Powder Cream in color numbers 01 and 03. The first one was lighter than the other. I bought each one of them for Php 350 ($7.80) and they both came with a sponge. I am going to make a review and swatches about these two babies so you can see the difference between them and between wearing them and without them.

Here's the 01:

Here's the 03:

As you can see, 03 is darker than 01. Here's their sponges:

Now, I'm going to dab my left side of my face with the 01.
So, my left side is your right side. The side with a mole under my eye is my right side.
Now, I'll apply the 03 on my the right side of my face.
I just dab it lightly and blend well.

Frugal. Frugal. Frugal.

The real Jenny Berdos is not frugal. I've learned that word in college. I went to Thames in college at San Juan, Greenhills. Everyone in my class learned that word. But it was explained in a thousand words or more. I really don't understand how Thames choose their teaching materials but yeah there was a full quarter when we just discussed the book "The Millionaire Next Door". I never read a page or more of it, though. Do you know why? Because I was not a reader. I knew how to read but I never was a fan of reading at that time and like 10 years after that. I went to Thames in 2000 and went back home here in Davao in 2002.

So, back to the book. There was a whole chapter in that book about being frugal. In fact, the title of the chapter was "Frugal. Frugal. Frugal". I didn't know the meaning of the word, then, so I asked my friend Daphne Flores (she's been married for three years now, so her name's Daphne Lanzona). Back in 2000, Daphne explained that it was being cheap or being mindful of your purchases. I can also remember my teacher Professor Ed Silva discussing the book with us and making us read one paragraph or a page at a time. Or was it the book called "48 Laws of Power". This always happens. Whenever I'm writing, there's another thought that would cross my mind and the whole blog is ruined. I don't make sense. But yeah, practice. I'm not going to edit those lines because I've already typed it. I also don't have time to proofread any of my blogs. Okay. Stop. Where was I again? Oh yeah, the book. Back to the post. The post's title is Frugal. That's what I want to accomplish here in my blog. To save money and change my spending and saving ways. Well, just my spending ways because I have not saved a dime in my life. Whenever I receive my salary, I always find ways to spend it. Like on our household bills, or groceries, makeup, clothes, shoes and crazy stuff.

I have to change. I have to start a saving way. Whatever way it is, just start. Okay, Mrs. Jenny Berdos? You're married now. Things have changed. You have to think about the future. You and your husband's future. Your future family. Your future child or children.

Here's my problem. I don't know how to save. My dad Jayme Ong gives me a weekly allowance of $45 or Php 2000 and it just won't see the light of day. Just like today. I received the sum and spent it all and the remaining sum of my salary last Tuesday. So, I always get around $325 every week and it's gone before the week ends. I have to help myself! I shouldn't rely on my dad to give me money! I'm already 32 years old. So, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to blog about my purchases so I'll know how much I'm spending on what. And I should also blog about my savings. I will disclose everything because I'm transparent that way.

People will eventually read this and maybe my friends or enemies are already reading this but I don't care if they know intricate details of my life. I'm here for one thing. That is to save money.

Today is August 29, 2016 and it's already 11:33 PM on my watch. My cash on hand? Php 850. And on bank? Php 200. Way to go me!

I have money (weekly salary) coming tomorrow at 5 PM and it's $287. My salary tomorrow is exactly Php 12,978.14. It didn't even go to the whole Php 13,000 like I have anticipated. So, yeah. I'd have Php 14,028.14. Yehey! I'm planning on saving the Php 4,028.14 and pay my car loans, bills and jewelry monthly amortizations with the remaining sum (Php 10,000). That's the plan! I'll get back to you and myself tomorrow!

Why Blog? Why Not?

Why blog? Because I can. Well, I think I can. I am a little tired for this since it's already 1 in the morning and I just finished setting up my brand new website. So, I just chose a template and bam! I am so up and running! I can't wait to write, write and write! I guess I don't have readers yet but I am positive that I will. Maybe I will just force my sisters to read my blogs! Haha! I had been up all afternoon (no naptime for me) researching about blogging or typing "how to blog" on Google. I was redirected to all sorts of stuff on Google search results pages and on YouTube. It was a tiring afternoon. One blogger said that she makes money through blogging and she gave a lot of tips and discouraged viewers to use Blogger.com or was it Blog her? I'm really not sure! I was multi-tasking at that moment, trying to write snippets as fast as I can while listening to videos. I really thought she said Blog Her so I Googled "Blog Her"! To my surprise, there are no evidences that Blog Her exists haha!

No-Filter Blog and Photo. How Much Do I Earn?

My name is Jenny Berdos. That's Mrs. Jenny Berdos to you!

I got married last June 24, 2016. I can't believe I'm a 2-month-old wife! I'm going to talk about my wedding in the next post. But first, I have to write my very first blog! Well, for this year that is.

It's a sunny Monday afternoon. God, it's hot! I just took a shower in this photo but it's still hot. I can feel my face burning up as the warm breeze touch my skin. Whew! This is a no-filter photo of me. But it looks like my laptop's camera automatically edited this because I don't believe my skin has ever looked this good. It's not great but it's good for me. I want to write blogs about my thoughts. It's like having a diary and I can access it anytime, anywhere. I just started blogging (I think so). I wrote blogs 3 years ago and the years before that. All in all, I think I just wrote around 2 blogs. I can't find the Cetaphil cleanser review though that was written I think about 5 years ago.

Okay so, now. I'm going to write my first blog. My husband Paul Berdos is not psyched about this, about me blogging. Maybe because it will take up so much of my time. I don't know. He's in the living room thinking I'm getting dressed to go out with him and pay our water bill at the Felcris Centrale Mall but I'm not. I'm blogging.

Just a quick reminder to myself that I started this because I want to:

1. Inspire myself to be better.
2. Inspire others to be better or accept themselves in and out.
3. Take note of what I'm doing if not everyday, then at least every week.
4. Be creative with words even though I think my writing style tends to be awkward-sounding and
5. Be the perfect wife. (Blogging will make me a better wife, I think).

I accept my limitations. People should accept their limitations. I have a lot of limitations. I don't have the eye nor the ear. I can't tell if someone's singing is greater than the other. I can't tell if someone's photo is better than the other. It's just that bad. But I think I can get away with it? I can always say "I like this photo better." or "I like his singing better." Right? It's my opinion and I don't care if no one agrees with me. It's just that. Of course someone will agree with me because there are only 2 options. option 1 and option 2. Ask a million people and someone is bound to agree with me. I just know it.

Mondays are usually my time to:
1. Watch movies and eat popcorn (lots of carbs) with my husband Paul Berdos. (I wonder if I drop my husband's name a lot, this blog will pop up at the top of Google's search engines when I Google "Paul Berdos".)
2. Eat dinner with papa Jayme Ong and my brother Jazzy James Ong. (I also wonder if I drop my family's name a lot, this blog will pop up at the top of Google's search engines when I Google "Jayme Ong" and "Jazzy Ong".)
3. Take the day off.
4. Blog (starting today).
5. Withdraw my funds from Upwork.com to my bank account (Unionbank).

So how much do I earn?
I'm really transparent. I'm not sure why people don't disclose that information to others but I'm pretty fine disclosing mine. I make around Php 13, 000.00 per week. That's around $285. Upwork dollar exchange rates are different from the real one or from the country. I write 1500 snippets per week and no more no less for a San Francisco-based online company called Thumbtack.com.

About Jenny Berdos

About Me

The Writer

Snippet Writer
I write snippets for a company called Thumbtack.com.
I basically just summarize lengthy or one-liner service descriptions into 130-character snippets.

Blog Writer
I don't remember the exact number of blogs I made but I'm pretty sure it was only two. One was a review for Cetaphil and the other one was a review for Aromacology products and I wrote the latter one on Blogger.com or is it blogspot.com? I'm really not sure if they're the same or not. So, yeah, that's me. The complete novice!

Article Writer
I used to write articles for a living. Now, I don't have projects writing articles but I'm fine doing some if I get writing gigs on Upwork.com (it used to be oDesk.com but they changed it to Upwork.com).

About Me

Shopaholic
Yep! That's me! But I vow to change that!!!! Right here, right now!
I used to shop 5 different kinds of lip glosses in less than an hour. I always hate the feeling that when you wanted something and when you came back to purchase it, it's gone? Or they ran out of stocks? Hate that! That's why I became this shopaholic monster.

Style Getter
I love reading fashion magazines and I recreate some of the looks into my everyday outfits. I'm not a style setter and I'm not creative that way. Well, I'm really not sure about that. Maybe, I am creative but I just need to exert more effort into something that I want before I could produce something amazing?

Reader
I read fashion magazines, Harry Potter and other YA novels such as Twilight and Divergent series. I also read the Shopaholic series. I think that those are so relatable.

About Me

The Needs Improvement

Creative Side
Need to improve my creative side and I think I can do that by just creating something, anything. I can't draw but I know I can improve by practicing. Allot time for practice. I should practice so I won't such at things anymore.

Photography
I don't have the eyes. I can't tell the difference of a great photo from a greater photo. I'm not an artist. Maybe. Not yet. Or not at all. I don't have the eyes yet but I should change that. Or I shouldn't. I will write a blog about why I shouldn't improve my photography skills.

About Me

The Wife

Happy Wife
I am a happy wife. My husband Paul Berdos is the one to be blamed about my happiness. I married the man of my dreams and the love of my life. I've been living the years that are unforgettable to me for nearly a decade. These years are with him.

Content Wife
Content but childless. My husband and I would love to have a child. We will have one someday. We have to work on it. Go to doctors and take supplements. I still am contented with my life because it's all I have. My life. My life with my husband. I'm happy and I can't complain. I may be childless but I'm still contented.
